Since our subconscious mind cannot grasp the concept of “not,” you’re absolutely right in this post: Do not think of the proverbial pink elephant. See? And I would add that, instead of “I will” or “I can,” use “I am,” as if the thing you desire is already present. The subconscious is so literal, using the future tense will keep your desire in the future.
